If you have spent any time on my website or ordered flowers from me before, you may have noticed something different about how I work as a florist in Florence Oregon. You will not find a long catalog of pre made bouquets to scroll through. No endless grid of stock photos. No choose your exact arrangement menu.
And that is very intentional.
As the only full-service, hometown florist in Florence, OR I wanted Truck Full of Posies to feel fresh, creative, and true to the nature that inspires me. That meant letting go of the traditional model of repeating the same bouquet again and again and instead focusing on always unique floral designs created with the freshest flowers available each day.

Nature does not repeat itself and neither do my designs
Every flower is different. Every season is different. Every bouquet should be too.
A huge catalog of pre designed arrangements would force me to color inside the lines and recreate the same look over and over. That has never been me and it is not how I want my floral work to feel. I built this business around creativity, movement, and a deep respect for what nature is offering right now, not what was photographed months or years ago.

A pre set catalog means product sitting around longer
This part is important.
Offering dozens of specific bouquet options would require me to keep all of those flowers in stock at all times, or have to deliver something that does not match what you paid for. That leads to product sitting around longer than it should and that affects freshness, quality, and longevity. Feeling overall less alive, to me anyway.
Instead I bring in smaller batches of flowers more often and design with what is truly at its best that day. You get fresher blooms, never ending color combos, and arrangements that last longer because nothing is waiting in a cooler for its matching photo.

The beauty of locally grown flowers and why I use them when I can
Another part of my design philosophy is using locally grown flowers whenever I am able to. Our growing season here on the Oregon Coast can be short, unpredictable, and is completely controlled by nature. I will not try to predict what will bloom, when it will bloom, or how much of it you will get. But I will honor it.
I work closely with local flower farmer, Amy Rickford, who shares that same respect for the land. She grows with the seasons, not against them, and the result is flowers that feel authentic, textural, and full of life. Choosing local blooms whenever I can supports our environment, reduces waste, and keeps this beautiful cycle of local growing alive.
When local flowers are available, I love showcasing them in my arrangements. They bring a sense of place and a freshness that only comes from flowers grown right here in our own community.

Every order has its own story. I pay attention to the occasion and the card message and I design with that in mind. Birthday flowers feel different than sympathy flowers. A thank you arrangement carries a different tone than a romantic one.
