I was born and raised in Florence, Oregon, in a place where the forest runs into the dunes, the rivers lead to the ocean, and beauty has never needed to be perfectly arranged to be extraordinary.

Long before I became a florist, I was the girl collecting wildflowers along logging roads, wandering the woods, driving somewhere just to see what was at the end of the road, and bringing pieces of nature home with me.

In 2021, that natural-born instinct became Truck Full of Posies.

What started as a floral business has grown into something much bigger than I could have understood when I began.

Today, I am the founder and lead floral designer behind Truck Full of Posies, a Florence, Oregon florist specializing in locally grown flowers, one-of-a-kind everyday arrangements, Oregon Coast weddings, elopements and events.

But flowers are really just the medium.

Connection is the work.

I Believe Beautiful Things Should Mean Something

I don't believe flowers should come from a catalog.

I don't believe success has to mean a storefront, a massive operation, or doing things the way they've always been done.

And I definitely don't believe nature's most beautiful work should be forced into identical recipes.

Truck Full of Posies was built differently on purpose.

We work with the fields, not a stock photo.

We source locally grown flowers whenever the season allows, carefully condition every stem that comes through our studio, and create each arrangement individually. You pick the price. We make the art.

The result is floral design that feels alive. A little wild. Refined without becoming stiff. Inspired by the same Oregon Coast landscape that has shaped me my entire life.

That philosophy carries into our wedding work, too. From intimate Heceta Head elopements to full-scale Oregon Coast weddings, I want flowers to belong to the place and the people they're celebrating. Not simply decorate it.

This Business Was Never Just About Flowers

Somewhere along the way, I realized Truck Full of Posies had become a vehicle for something I care about even more.

Making people feel loved.

Flowers have given me a way to show up for people during some of the biggest and smallest moments of their lives. Birthdays. Weddings. Anniversaries. Grief. New beginnings. Ordinary Tuesdays when someone simply needs to know another person is thinking about them.

That belief has grown beyond the arrangements leaving my studio.

It's why I created community projects centered around kindness and connection. It's why supporting local growers matters to me. It's why we recycle vases instead of treating them as disposable. It's why I care about where the dollars spent with my business go next.

I want to build things that ripple outward.

A bouquet can do that.

A few handwritten words can do that.

A small business can absolutely do that.

Florence isn't simply the market my business serves.

It's home.

I know these beaches, forests, rivers and backroads because I grew up on them. They influence the way I design, the way I run my business, and the kind of life I've intentionally built around it.

Five years into this business, I'm still evolving.

I'm a floral designer and business owner, but I'm also a writer, storyteller, community builder and someone endlessly curious about what else can be created from one good idea.

Truck Full of Posies is one of those ideas.

And we're nowhere near finished.
